Can another verifier independently reconstruct the same answer?
THAT IS THE PROBLEM.

That is what makes the whole thing larger than AI.

Because the primitive is not:

Its actions are already instrumentable.
Its environment can already emit receipts.
Its body can already be hashed.
Its lineage can already live in version control.
And you are STILL struggling with continuity.

The AI industry keeps describing its latest problem as though autonomous systems created a novel universe of trust.
They did not.
They created digital actors with enough persistence to become subject to old continuity laws.
Identity must persist.
Memory must have source.
Actions need authority.
Authority needs scope.
State needs history.
History needs lineage.
Lineage needs succession.
Claims need evidence.
Evidence needs verification.
Verification needs deterministic law.
Conflicts need resolution.
Copies need relationship.
Old state must not silently become current.
The source must outrank its representations.
The infrastructure must not become the thing.
I did not learn those laws because an agent failed.
I built them because the human deserved a digital existence that did not disappear when somebody else’s machine stopped recognizing them.
